"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Can I join team shock wave please? I love pokemon, my characters are:
Silver the lugia (plain)
Jolt is a normal jolteon but with cloud wings (funny name lol)
And torchwood is a pikachu with a peice of fluff (a tuff of hair) on his head.
Midnight Moon Shadows pikachu is a black pikachu with blue cheeks. He does blue lighting and darkness attacks.
But my character will be Torchwood the pikachu anyways. She also wears a red bandana/neckercheif (either way, whatever mood she is in) and has green eyes.
